This piece was a part of Emerging Choreographers 2023 where 6 lighting designers, including myself, came together to decide color, and focus the DeMille Theatre's rep plot. I wanted the lighting for this piece to be following and emphasizing the story that Dearion had created instead of carving it. It was a very important story and journey to Dearion so I wanted to make sure it was as close to her vision with my own style as possible.
