This piece was a part of UNCSA's Fall Dance 2024 show. Using DeMille's rep plot with a few added movers, another designer and I had to use the same plot and focus yet did have the accessibility for color changes throughout each piece. This piece was about conversations surrounding fear and safety that Emily had with her students at the beginning of the year. We wanted to play with tension and its release throughout the song, especially towards the end. Emily played with dancers being in the pit throughout the piece, so that was a very fun thing to experience working on!
