This piece was a part of UNCSA's Spring Dance 2024. For this piece, Britt and I had extensive conversation on what vision they had and how I could bring that vision to life. We wanted to play with the 4 elements and have a very specific section for each of them. Starting with calm water transforming into a dark storm. We then go into a very romantic air with a story of a first love, a longing relationship, and a loving friendship. This loving air transforms into the fiery dance of a soloist. The stage became intense with red and oranges, but then becomes grounded with greens, browns, and blues.
